More about this planner

When you teach two, three or four children at home, most planners give you one column when you need several. This one puts your children side by side. The weekly page has a "Together" column for shared lessons and a column for each child, so you can see at a glance who is doing what and what you need to prepare.

Start the year with a family overview (each child's age, curriculum and goals) and a year-at-a-glance page. Plan each term by subject and child. Then use the weekly page every week, and the daily page on busy days.

Logs and trackers cover subjects and resources, lesson plans, reading, trips and outings, activities and co-op times, and the work samples you want to keep. An end-of-term reflection page closes each term.

It is undated, so you can start any month and print the weekly and daily pages as often as you need.

This is a planner for parents. It does not decide what your family must record; record-keeping rules differ by state and country.

More about this tracker

Many home-educating parents keep a record of school days and learning hours. Some do it for their own planning, some to see the balance between subjects, and some because their local rules ask for it. This workbook keeps those records for up to six children in one file.

Set the school year dates and your children's names in Settings. Each day, mark each child Full, Half, Trip or Off on the Attendance tab. Weekends are shaded, and the whole school year is laid out for you. Log learning sessions by subject in minutes on the Hours Log, and the workbook turns them into hours.

The Summary tab shows, for each child:

  • days counted
  • hours logged
  • hours by subject
  • progress against any targets you choose to enter

The Monthly tab shows days and hours per month. You decide how a half day or a trip counts.

The guide explains each tab and includes printable pages: a monthly attendance grid for six children, an hours log and a term summary.

Please note: this is a record-keeping tool for parents. It does not meet any state's or country's requirements by itself and is not legal advice. Check what your local rules ask you to record.
